JSW MG Motor India is launching its latest 7-seater SUV, the Tomahawk EV, in India. Now, just before the launch, a few images of this highly anticipated SUV have been shared online. These images reveal the complete design of the MG Tomahawk EV. This will be the first EV SUV from MG which will be based on the ADAPT platform.

From the spy shots that were taken during the TVC shoot of the Tomahawk EV, we can note that this SUV will be a very sharp and modern-looking butch SUV. At the front, this SUV boasts a set of sleek LED headlights with dual rows of LED DRLs. These blacked-out headlights will also get an LED projector setup inside as well.

As for the centre, there will be an illuminated MG logo in the centre on a gloss-black closed-off grille. Moving to the front bumper, it features a bold design with not many sharp creases. There will be no fog lights on the lower part of the front end. However, in the centre, the SUV features an air dam with rectangular elements. Overall, the front end looks very sharp, bold and modern.

Another image has been shared online which shows the side profile of this SUV. It can be seen that it will be offered with a set of 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with disc brakes on all four corners. The MG Hector Tomahawk EV will also feature chunky side claddings on the wheel arches and the lower parts of the doors.

Additionally, the SUV will also feature integrated gloss-black roof rails on the blacked-out roof. It also gets standard pull-type door handles. The rear-end design of the MG Hector Tomahawk EV has also been showcased. It will feature a set of sleek LED taillights, an integrated rear roof spoiler, a chunky rear bumper with cladding and a rear wiper, washer and defogger setup.

On the inside, the MG Hector Tomahawk EV will offer a seven-seat cabin with a minimalist dashboard and a free-standing 8.8-inch digital driver’s display. It will come paired with a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well. The SUV is also expected to feature powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a powered tailgate and leatherette upholstery.

Other expected features include a pet mode that keeps the air conditioning running even when the vehicle is locked. It will also get six airbags as standard, an electronic parking brake, a rear parking camera with sensors and ADAS.

The MG Hector Tomahawk is the first MG model in India to use the new ADAPT architecture, which has been developed to support multiple powertrain options. The SUV is being launched in India first as a fully electric model. And later, a PHEV version will also be launched. The EV is expected to use a 69.2kWh battery pack paired with a single front-mounted electric motor which will produce 201 bhp. The setup is expected to deliver a 530 km range which will translate to around 450 to 500 km in real-world conditions.
