The Champions League draw for the 2026/27 season has now been completed, and it has produced several eye-catching ties for the five Premier League clubs involved.

Last season’s finalists Arsenal have been handed a very tough draw featuring heavyweight meetings with both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, while Aston Villa are set to come up against defending champions PSG and Barcelona.

Manchester United will host Bayern Munich and make the trip to Como to face Cesc Fabregas’ team, Manchester City will welcome Kevin De Bruyne back to the Etihad when they take on Napoli, and Liverpool have been drawn against Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

For anyone needing a reminder of how the format works, the 36 clubs in the competition will each play eight matches against eight different opponents during the league phase, with four at home and four away.

The top eight sides will go straight into the knockout stage, while 16 teams will compete in a play-off round. Clubs finishing from 25th to 36th will be eliminated once the league phase ends in January. The teams that progress through the play-offs will then join the top eight in the last 16.

UEFA will announce the dates for the league phase on Saturday.
