Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye (26) has reportedly identified Manchester City as his preferred next destination if he leaves before the transfer window shuts, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

The two clubs, who could also end up negotiating over a deal involving Jack Grealish (30), are understood to have already opened discussions over the Senegal international. Those talks are said to be moving in a positive direction.

After returning to England two years ago following an underwhelming spell at Olympique de Marseille, where he registered four goals and five assists in 46 appearances, Ndiaye has enjoyed an excellent return to the Premier League. He scored nine league goals in the 2024-25 season and again made the difference on nine occasions during the 2025-26 campaign, contributing six goals and three assists.

Now 26 and under contract until 2029, Ndiaye appears ready to make the next move in his career — and swap blue for sky blue.
