Tottenham Hotspur are edging towards a double transfer deal with Chelsea after agreeing in principle to sign defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a permanent transfer and bring in Mykhailo Mudryk on loan.
Spurs have struck an agreement with their London rivals over the proposed moves, and the club must now settle personal terms with both players before the transfers can be completed.
However, Tottenham now look likely to miss out on Iliman Ndiaye, despite having agreed a deal with Everton for the forward, with Manchester City also now reaching an agreement for the Everton attacker.
Ndiaye is now expected to favour a move to City instead of joining Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Everton and Tottenham are still in discussions over a possible deal for Richarlison, with the future of the Brazil forward yet to be decided before the transfer deadline.
That comes despite Richarlison issuing a statement on social media in which he indicated that he would not allow himself to be pushed out of the club.
“After everything I’ve been through in the last few years, I’ve decided that NEVER AGAIN will anyone decide my future for me,” he said.
“I went through a lot of bad things, and almost all of them happened because decisions were made by other people. Pressure, threats, retaliation – none of that scares me. I’ve been through far worse, believe me.
“I’ve always made it clear, every time I had the chance, that leaving for another club would only happen if it was also good for the club. If it wasn’t, I would never accept it… just like I didn’t accept it when everything was going badly and they needed me. I stayed and gave everything.
“So I hope they treat my situation with the same respect I’ve always shown Spurs and everyone who worked with me during this period. Just don’t try to decide for me.”
Spurs have also confirmed the departure of highly rated winger Mikey Moore, who has joined Bundesliga club FC Koln on a season-long loan.
The 18-year-old will continue his development in Germany, with Tottenham aiming to give the youngster regular first-team football.
