Protesters demanded that the Bihar TRE 4.0 be conducted in a single stage and that a "one candidate-one result" policy be implemented. The Bihar government accepted these demands, deciding that the Bihar TRE 4.0 would now be held in a single stage. It is expected that the BPSC will issue a revised notification for the Bihar TRE 4.0 recruitment based on these accepted demands. A proposal will be placed before a committee headed by a Patna High Court judge; this proposal will include provisions to ensure mandatory transparency regarding question papers, OMR sheets, and answer booklets for recruitment examinations conducted along the lines of the BPSC.

The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) is taking necessary action, in accordance with the rules, to conduct an impartial investigation into alleged paper leaks in examinations such as the AEDO and Sanitary Recruitment exams conducted by the BPSC.
