Jet2 is introducing a 1p rule for holidays for seven days only from this Friday to allow customers to save money.

The budget airline has confirmed it is bringing back its popular ‘Bid for a break’ campaign this month, which gives holidaymakers the chance to secure a holiday abroad “for pennies”. The limited-time campaign will run from Friday, September 4, until Friday, September 11, and will see customers able to bid for a chance to win a seven-night holiday to either Corfu or La Palma.

To take part, customers simply need to download the free Jet2 mobile app, select the ‘Offers’ section and then ‘Bid for a Break’, where they need to enter their chosen bid amount to the nearest penny.

The customer who is the only person to bid the lowest amount will then secure the holiday and pay that exact price.

Jet2 has confirmed that bidding opened at 10 today, Friday September 4, and will close at 10am on Friday September 11, giving customers just one week to submit their bids to secure a sunshine getaway for pennies.

The Corfu holiday is an all-inclusive seven-night getaway for two adults and two children to the 4 star Aeolos Beach Resort, while the La Palma holiday – which is a new destination to Jet2 that launched earlier this year – is a seven-night half board holiday for two adults and two children at the 4 star Melia La Palma.
