Taking frequent medicines for acidity can be harmful to your health. The first thing you should focus on is improving your digestion. Famous nutritionist Shweta Shah has given three remedies to get relief from acidity.
When your eating and daily habits are not right, your digestion is affected. Stomach acid builds up and backs up into the esophagus. This causes symptoms like heartburn, sour belching, bad taste in mouth and feeling like vomiting.
First of all, you should start your morning with raisins. If heartburn persists, start the day with 8 soaked raisins. It's an easy way to add fiber and natural nutrients to your diet, which improves digestion.
Gut Inflammation: These changes in the body after intestinal injury, changes in the color of stools, can lead to serious diseases
Another solution is to make a habit of eating fennel after meals. Take soaked fennel after lunch and 1 teaspoon of fennel after dinner. Fennel is traditionally used to aid digestion and may also reduce bloating.
Experts have also said to do Sheetli or Shitkari Pranayama. Along with medicines, you should also do pranayama to reduce acidity. Nutritionists recommend that you choose the breathing technique (Pranayama) that you feel most comfortable with, be it Shitali or Shitkari, and practice it 10 times before lunch and 10 times before dinner.
These methods of controlling acidity should be followed consistently to get relief, as no medicine or remedy works in a day. For long-term benefits, the problem needs to be treated comprehensively. Also, make a habit of walking or doing Vajrasana for 10 minutes every day after meals.
