1161 examination centers have been selected for the Uttar Pradesh constable recruitment examination. This time the examination will be held only in government and aided educational institutions. All examination centers will be within a radius of 10 km of the district headquarters. Necessary guidelines are being given to all the District Magistrates and Police Captains regarding the preparations for the examination.
Help will be taken from government agencies
The exam will be conducted in offline mode, in which candidates will have to answer on OMR sheets. The help of government agencies will be taken to ensure security, and the STF (Special Task Force) will keep a close watch on paper leaks and solver gangs. This time special arrangements have been made to maintain transparency in the exam, so that candidates get an opportunity to give a fair and safe exam. According to the government order, the recruitment board has selected a different vendor for every exam work.
Exam will be offline
Recruitment Board Chairman DG Rajiv Krishna said that this time too the exam will be offline. Candidates will have to answer the questions on OMR sheet. The exam will be conducted in ten shifts in five days and the question papers will be different for each shift. Candidates will first be allotted a district and after that the name of the examination center will be released on the admit card. The board has taken strict steps to ensure transparency and security of the exam through this process.
He clarified that only those candidates will be able to take part in the exam who had applied last time. New applications will not be accepted. However, the age relaxation given during the exam held in February will be available this time as well.
