Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele will host the first Twenty20 International (T20I) of the three-match series between India and Sri Lanka on Saturday, July 27. Following Rohit Sharma’s retirement from T20Is last month, Suryakumar Yadav will lead the world’s top T20I side, India. Charith Asalanka will captain Sri Lanka in the first game of the series. Wanindu Hasaranga resigned as captain last month, and the 27-year-old batting all-arounder was named the replacement.
