The application process for this recruitment has started today i.e. 7 September 2024. The application process has been started on the official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Indian Navy, joinindiannavy.gov.in. This recruitment will fill sailors in the Medical Branch for SSR (Medical Assistant) in the November 2024 batch.

What is the eligibility criteria?
Candidates who wish to apply for these posts must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a Board of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject. Candidates should be born between November 1, 2003, to April 30, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process
The selection process of SSR (Medical Assistant) 02/2024 batch will consist of two stages i.e. Phase I - Shortlisting based on marks obtained in 10+2 PCB, Phase II - PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination (at specified centers of Indian Navy). Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the total percentage obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination (10+2). Shortlisting will be done state wise.
