In the teaser clip released by Kia on social media, sea and blue sky can be seen. This indicates the blue color of the upcoming car. If you look at the roof of the new electric SUV, you will see a two-part panoramic sunroof. The most expensive variant of this car can be launched in the Indian market. Kia may first introduce the EV9 GT-Line AWD model. This is the most expensive model of this car. Its cheaper variants will be launched later. In India, the EV9 will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Apart from this, the company will also launch an updated three-row Carnival MPV. The Carnival will initially be sold as a CBU, but will later be assembled in India.
The EV9 sold in the global market can cover a distance of 434 km on a single full charge. With 350 kW DC fast charging, this car can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes. EV9 is not new to India. The EV9 and the next generation Carnival MPV were showcased in India at the 2023 India Auto Expo.
The EV9 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5 seconds. As safety features, this electric car has the support of Level-3 ADAS, which includes features like 360-degree camera with blind spot detection, parking collision avoidance, lane driving aids and navigation-based cruise control.
The price of the EV9 AWD GT-Line on the Kia US website is $73,900, which is approximately Rs 62.07 lakh. However, its exact price for India will be announced during the launch on October 3.
