High Court Recruitment 2024: Recruitment has come out for 33 posts of Judgment Writer in Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. For this, an online application has to be done by visiting the High Court website highcourtchd.gov.in/. The last date for online application for this recruitment is 1st October. In the selection process in the notification, it has been said that the candidates will be selected based on performance in the Word Processing / Transcription Test. The written examination has not been told.

The age limit for the recruitment of a Judgment Writer is 21 to 30 years. Age will be calculated from 1st October 2024. Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Qualification for Judgment Writer Recruitment
Candidates must have a graduation degree for recruitment to the post of Judgment Writer in Punjab and Haryana High Court. Also, should be proficient in working on computers (word processing and spreadsheets).

Application fee
For SC/ST and BC category candidates of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh - Rs 800

Application fee for other category candidates - Rs 1000.

Selection process
Candidates should have a shorthand detection speed of 120 words per minute in English and a transcription speed on computer should be 24 words per minute. In which there should not be more than 5 percent mistakes. Shorthand detection will be of 10 minutes. At the same time, the spread test will be of 10 marks and 10 minutes. To pass it, 40 percent marks will have to be obtained.

Salary of Judgment Writer
Candidates selected for the post of Judgment Writer will get a salary of Rs 10,300 - 34,800 with a grade pay of Rs 4,800.
