Ranchi: The effect of low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is being seen in Jharkhand. Heavy rain is falling in most parts of the state. Rain alert has been issued in many districts on Monday as well. Garhwa district has received the highest rainfall of 152 mm in the last 24 hours. Ranchi's Budhmu received 112.2 mm, Daltonganj received 110.06 mm and Jamshedpur received 53.2 mm rainfall.

On Monday also, an alert has been issued regarding rain in Garhwa, Palamu, Lohardaga, Simdega, Chatra, Gumla. During this period, strong winds will also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. Rain will continue in the capital Ranchi till September 21.

Due to the rain, a drop in temperature has also been recorded. On Sunday the maximum temperature in Daltonganj was recorded at 30.6 degrees while in the capital Ranchi it was 21.4 degrees. It has been raining in Ranchi since Monday morning. According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, other areas which received maximum rainfall from Saturday evening to Sunday evening are Budhmu 112.2 mm, Daltonganj 110.6 mm, Chakulia 105 mm, Panchet 79.6 mm, Boram 74.4 mm, Khalari 61.6 mm, Potka 94.8 mm, Balumath 85 mm, Maithon 57.5 mm.
