Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted he may look to extend his stay in England ahead of the huge title race clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

Guardiola has entered the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and the speculation is stronger than ever that the Catalonian will be looking to move on at the end of the season. The 53-year-old has arguably achieved everything that he set out to at City with the Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup added to numerous Premier League trophies.

Couple this with the uncertainty surrounding City's future considering the 130 Financial Fair Play (FFP) charges hanging over their heads and signs point towards Guardiola moving on. However, after the goalless draw in the Champions League at home to Inter on Wednesday night, the City boss gave an impassioned speech about his love for England.

He told journalists at his post-match press conference: "I love Italy but I really enjoy being here. I love English football.

"It is fantastic. I really enjoy it.

"They leave you alone to get on with your job. That doesn’t happen anywhere else.
