Hardik Pandya’s last Test match outing was against England back in 2018, despite the fact that the talented all-rounder was recently seen bowling with the red ball. Seeing Pandya bowl with the red ball is an uncommon sight, so fans were left wondering whether he was going to make a comeback to Test cricket.

Though he no longer plays Test cricket, Hardik is preparing for the next Twenty20 international series against Bangladesh. As the Indian squad, captained by Rohit Sharma, takes on the Bengal Tigers in Chennai, Pandya is getting ready for the three-match Twenty20 International series that starts on October 6 in Gwalior with the opening match.
Hardik Pandya posted a video of himself bowling full force while holding a crimson ball. The 30-year-old began by pitching a ball that shook the stumps, then he picked up the bat and bashed the ball all over the park.

For those who are unaware, Hardik has chosen to forego red-ball cricket due to his management of workload. The BCCI has excluded the top all-rounder from the Test cricket lineup in order to prevent him from getting hurt for any white-ball matches.

But his most recent video with the red ball would undoubtedly make fans wonder whether he will make a Test return. He will, however, be among India’s most crucial players in the next T20I series against Bangladesh before that.

After assisting the Men in Blue in winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in June, Hardik Pandya last appeared for India in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in July.

The skipper of the Mumbai Indians has only participated in 11 Test matches for India so far, taking 17 wickets and amassing 532 runs in 18 innings. In 29 first-class games, he took 48 wickets and scored 1,351 runs. Fans will undoubtedly be excited by Hardik Pandya’s impending comeback during the T20I series, even if it is unclear whether the BCCI would take him into consideration for upcoming Test matches.
