Jalaun: Husband became executioner! He slashed wife’s face with sharp weapon, left her thinking she was dead; arrested

In Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh, a husband tried to kill his wife due to family dispute. The husband attacked his wife with a sharp weapon several times. The accused husband kept attacking her until he was convinced that his wife was dead. Thinking his wife was dead, the accused husband fled from the spot. When his son saw his mother in critical condition, he took her to the hospital for treatment. The son informed the police about this. The police arrested the accused husband who committed the crime.

The incident took place at Kudari Mod Rendhar Mod of village Bangra in Madhogarh Kotwali area. Gyan Singh son of Mulu had a domestic dispute with his wife Maya Devi. The dispute escalated so much that Gyan Singh attacked his wife with a sharp iron weapon kept in the house and kept attacking her until he was convinced that she had died. After this, he fled from the spot thinking that his wife was dead. When his son Manish alias Golu saw this heinous incident, he immediately informed the police about it and admitted his mother to the community health center for treatment. Seeing the critical condition of the woman, the doctors referred her to the medical college after giving first aid.

The woman is undergoing treatment at Orai Medical College. On receiving information about the incident, the police searched for the accused Gyan Singh who committed the crime and arrested him from Bangra area. A case has been registered against the accused under section 109 of BNS on the complaint of his son Manish. On his information, the weapon with which he had attacked his wife has been recovered.

Giving information about the incident, CO Ram Singh of Madhogarh said that Gyan Singh committed the crime due to domestic dispute. The accused husband brutally attacked his wife. On the complaint of the son, a case has been registered against him under section 109 of BNS and he was produced before the judicial magistrate and sent to jail. The woman is undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College, Orai.
