To alleviate passenger inconvenience, Adani-operated airport lounges are now accepting all major debit and credit cards. The company is working with banks to restore normal services promptly.

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) announced on Sunday that passengers at airports across India are currently facing disruptions in lounge access due to the unexpected suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd. To mitigate the impact on passengers, AAHL has allowed lounges at Adani-operated airports to accept all major debit and credit cards from other access providers.

The lounge access provider, which partners with several banks, has violated its service agreements with the affected airports, a notification from the company said.

"Passengers at airports across India have been experiencing disruptions in lounge access. This is due to the unexpected suspension of services by Dreamfolks Services Ltd, a lounge access provider partnered with several banks, in violation of its service agreements with the affected airports. AAHL is actively working with the banks to facilitate the immediate resumption of services. Despite our requests, services through Dreamfolks have not yet been restored. As an interim alternative, lounges at Adani-operated airports are now accepting all major debit and credit cards from other access providers. We are committed to fully supporting passengers during this period," an AAHL spokesperson said in a statement on Sunday.

The company is in talks with stakeholders to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and restore normal services for travellers.

The Adani Group owns and operates several domestic and international airports in India, including Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the Sardar Vallabbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedadbad, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, Mangaluru International Airport, Jaipur International Airport, Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, and the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.

AAHL is a subsidiary of the Adani Enterprises, and oversees the management of these airports, which collectively account for approximately 23 percent of India's total passenger traffic.
