At this time, live concerts are going on all over the country, in which the most talked about is Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati India Tour, which is going to start from October 26. Meanwhile, British rock band Coldplay also came up with a new announcement for music lovers. After almost 9 years, Coldplay band is going to perform in India. This band is doing the Music of the Spheres World Tour from the year 2022, in whose list Mumbai's name has also been added. Ticket booking for this concert was to start from 12 noon on September 22, but shortly before the live booking, the BookMyShow website crashed, after which people were disappointed. However, the server was fixed in a short time.

In the year 2025, the Coldplay band is going to perform at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on 18 and 19 January, but due to the demand of the people, another date of 21 January has been added to this concert. People are so excited about the arrival of this band that all the tickets of the concert were sold out in no time. Talking about the band, it has 4 members, including lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion. Phil Harvey is the manager of this group, who is known as the invisible member of the group. This band was started by Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland. Both of them met in a university in London in the year 1996, at that time both of them realized that both have the same passion.

How did Coldplay start?

Chris and Jonny started performing together, then they were known as 'Big Fat Noises' and 'Paktoralz'. After a year, Guy Berryman met the two and he also joined them. After this, the band's name was changed to 'Starfish', but it was again renamed to 'Coldplay'. The band wrote the song 'The Scientist' for the album A Rush of Blood to the Head, for which Chris practiced singing backwards. Four years after the band's inception, in 2000, it released its first studio album, titled 'Parachutes'. Coldplay's first biggest hit song was 'Shiver'. Coldplay performed in India during the Global Citizen Festival in the year 2016.

I had shot my song in Varanasi

In the year 2016 itself, Coldplay's song 'Hymn for the Weekend' was released, the video of which was shot in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and American singer Beyonce were also included in this video.

However, after the release of the video, some people did not like this video. It will be very interesting to see this band performing in India again after so many years. The band is promoting its 9th and 10th albums 'Music of the Spheres' and 'Moon Music' through this tour.
