Four-wheeler carrying schoolchildren crashes into a drain in Uttar Pradesh; police begin an investigation

Three youngsters were injured on Monday in a heartbreaking occurrence in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, after an SUV transporting students swerved off the road and fell into a drain, according to police confirmation. When the tragedy occurred, the car was carrying eleven kids, ages five to eight, to a private Basic Education Center in Garauli village, Aurai.

The SUV fell around five feet off the road and became lodged in a drain when the driver, who was helped by a trainee, lost control close to Nakta Pur village. When people heard the youngsters cry out, they hurried to assist. The youngsters who were hurt, Pavan, Ansh, and Abhishek, had minor head injuries, according to Basic Shiksha Adhikari Bhupendra Narayan Singh. They were given medical attention before being turned over to their guardians. According to Inspector Sachidanand Pandey, the driver of the Tata Sumo will face legal repercussions after the vehicle was extracted from the sewer using a crane.
