India's famous nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee told through her Instagram account how the signs of insulin resistance in the body can be recognized.

1. Increased hunger

When you start feeling excessively hungry every 2 or 3 hours, that is, you feel like eating something, then understand that insulin resistance has increased in the body, which can lead to a dangerous situation if not controlled.

2. Headaches

When you suddenly start feeling a headache and this happens several times a day, then it can be a risk of increased insulin resistance. Sometimes you feel a headache while eating food or this happens even when you have not eaten anything for 5 to 6 hours.

3. Sugar cravings 

If you crave sweets after every meal, and this happens often at night, then there is a high possibility that your body is facing insulin resistance.

4. Unnecessary weight gain

If there is no increase in your calorie intake, despite this your weight starts increasing suddenly, then this could be a sign of insulin resistance, you should immediately go to the doctor and get tested.

5. Pigmentation

Freckles are also called pigmentation. If they start appearing more on your neck, cheeks and arms, then these are symptoms of insulin resistance, which needs to be treated.
