Twinke Khanna is known for her smart wit in her writing columns. The former actress often writes on interesting or trending subjects. While sharing her views, Twinkle sometimes shares anecdotes that leave on in split.
There are also times when she addresses serious ongoing issues through her writeups. A few weeks ago, Twinkle posted a powerful post after the Kolkata doctor rape case incident. Khanna's new post is about the pollution, where she takes a dig at her mother, Dimple Kapadia. In her blog for the Times of India, Twinkle Khanna wrote how the water trickling from her water purifier reminded her of Hema Malini. She wrote that no one in this country has been more interested in water purifiers for years than the Dream Girl actress. Khanna wrote how Hema performed a dance ballet on Ganga shores to give out the message to keep the rivers clean. She asks, "But will our citizens listen to her appeal, or will it be a case of you can lead a horse to the jal (water), but you can't make him drink?" Further in her blog, Twinkle also shared an anecdote of her conversation with her mother, Dimple Kapadia. Twinkle was telling her mother about her pet peeves, discussing how people don't think twice before littering public places. Khanna wrote, "It doesn't matter how much we spend on infrastructure if we can't stop our fellow Indians from making Rorschach patterns of paan on street corners and lynching people because of religious differences." The Baadshah actress shared her mother's reaction to her comments, which made her wish that Hema Malini was mom. "She says, 'Beta, since you are worried about pollution, let me tell you there was less noise pollution during the Ganpati processions than what you are doing right now,' and hangs up the phone. This is not the first time I have wished that Hema Malini was my mother instead. Not only could we discuss clean water at length, but I would also receive a lifetime supply of free water purifiers."   A few days ago, Twinkle Khanna shared a birthday post for her son Aarav. In the caption, Twinkle mentioned that her son wants to live independently by himself. Her caption reads, "When you would return for a visit, I would light numerous diyas and pretend that this was not a permanent power failure; we were just celebrating Diwali."
