In India, this scooter will compete with scooters from TVS, Honda and Suzuki.

Apart from this, the company has updated the LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). These are on the front of the scooter, which gives the scooter a sporty and rugged design.
The company has made changes in the features, but the engine is the same as before. It is powered by a 125cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine is equipped with a mild-hybrid system 'Hybrid Power Assist'. Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) has been provided for performance.
Yamaha's updated scooter will get telescopic forks at the front, while a monoshock has been provided at the rear. Block pattern tires strengthen its rugged image.
Yamaha has launched this hybrid scooter at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,130. The updated scooter is Rs 2,000 more expensive than the previous version. In the Indian market, the 2024 RegZR Street Rally 125 FI competes with scooters like Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Hero Destiny 125 and Suzuki Access 125.
