Who is Roos Van Reek? Roos Van Reek is a 23-year old Dutch Pickleball player, born in Oostvorne, Netherlands and presently based in Queensland Australia. Van Reek is a stand-out member of the Melbourne Mavericks in Major League Pickleball (MLP), Australia. She is recognized for her remarkable athletic ability and her ability to make pivotal moves during the game. She has also played Junior-level tennis. As per the ITF Junior Rankings, February 2017, Van Reek was ranked 1406 in the world. Career Roos shifted from a career in professional tennis to pickleball and has made her mark at every tournament she’s participated in, both on and off the court. She has been considered an icon in the Australian MLP and clinched victory in the last MLP held in Sydney and New Zealand, where she won the MVP title for his team Northern Crocs. As per official stats, she has a win-loss record of 16-10, with most number of wins coming in the Mixed Doubles category. She is currently ranked 4896th in the Singles category and 5596th in the Doubles category.
