As Team India gets ready for the upcoming second Test matchup with Bangladesh in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh’s Green Park Stadium. The conditions that could be available seem to be quite different from what we seen during the last Test in Chennai.’

The surface in Kanpur for the match may be a black dirt track, which would provide very different conditions from those in Chennai, according to a report by ESPNCricinfo. Kanpur’s track would probably provide less bounce and considerably flatter conditions than the red dirt track.

What Separates Red Soil Pitches from Black Soil Pitches
The tracks offered both pacers and spinners an equal amount of excellent and consistent bounce thanks to the red soil surface used in Chennai. While spinners like Ashwin were trying to employ their top-spin variations, which moved to the turning deliveries during the fourth day of the Test, the faster bowlers showed themselves to be a danger with the new ball.

Conditions of dark dirt will probably not give the pacers much bounce. The analysis indicates that even with the pitch’s deterioration, the circumstances would probably stay the same. The flatter surface would force batters to adopt a more defensive stance. The spinners will be in the game even more when the pitch breaks down since there are several fractures visible that might be useful.

Is it likely that the team will change?

Regarding lineup adjustments, the Indian team has already selected their playing group for the next second Test in Kanpur. However, the starting eleven may alter if Akash Deep signs Kuldeep Yadav or Axar Patel, who would provide the home team with a two-pace, three-spin bowling assault.

Shakib Al Hasan’s injury may be a major setback for Bangladesh, since his availability for the team is in question. However, they have players like Taijul Islam, a skilled spinner with experience playing in India, who might be called up to the team in place of pacer Nahid Rana.
