Jitin Prasad said, "We will soon start work on a semiconductor plant in Uttar Pradesh as well. I am confident that the state will be among the few places where there will be a semiconductor factory." The Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently signed an MoU with the US for chip making. It emphasizes that these technologies will be seen more and more in the daily lives of people in the future and it is necessary that we understand these technologies as soon as possible. He said that semiconductors are very important to achieve the goals of making India a Digital India.
