Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will close the registration window for constable recruitment today, 24 September. In such a situation, interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website hssc.gov.in. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 21,700. The aim of this recruitment drive is to fill 5,600 constable posts in Haryana Police. The posts have been divided into three categories. It includes 4,000 posts of male constable (general duty), 600 posts of female constable (general duty) and 1,000 posts of male constable (India Reserve Battalion).
Must have passed 12th examination from a recognized school education board. Must have passed matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit subject. No additional weightage will be given to candidates with higher education. Youth between 18 and 25 years can apply for this recruitment.
Regarding the selection, the commission said, "Haryana Staff Selection Commission, on the basis of merit obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET), will invite adequate number of candidates for Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test, both of which will be qualifying in nature. Haryana Staff Selection Commission, as required, may conduct these in batches to shortlist four times the number of posts advertised in each category for knowledge test."
