The Ranji Trophy event in the domestic cricket season of 2024–25 will have Virat Kohli among its potential participants, according to a list released by the DDCA. Other well-known players like Yash Dhull, Navdeep Saini, Ayush Badoni, Anuj Rawat, and Rishabh Pant are also on the list. Pant recently participated in the Duleep Trophy before to the Bangladesh home series. Pant has made a terrific return to the Test squad with a century in the first Chennai Test against Bangladesh.

In November 2012, Virat participated in the Ranji Trophy match against Uttar Pradesh. He was removed by bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar after scoring 14 and 42 runs in each of the two innings. Virat has amassed 11,120 runs at an average of 49.86 throughout 146 first-class matches. With a high score of 254*, he has 36 centuries and 38 fifties to his credit.

On October 11, the premier baseball cricket competition in India, which has aided in the growth of several Indian players, including Virat Kohli, will get underway. Delhi’s Elite Plate Group D match versus Chhattisgarh is scheduled on the same day.
