Randeep Surjewala: Political analysts are looking at all these exercises as a way of positioning the leaders in case Congress remains in power.

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Chunav: Congress has high hopes this time in the Haryana assembly elections. The party hopes that it can benefit from the anti-incumbency wave arising from the 10 years of BJP rule. Congress is considering the resentment of farmers and wrestlers as an opportunity for itself. That is why in the middle of the elections, a war has started between the big leaders as to who will become the Chief Minister if the party wins. There is resentment among a section within the Congress that the command of the Haryana elections is completely with the Hooda family i.e. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and their son Deepender Hooda. Their supporters have got the most tickets. It is being said that due to this, Congress MP Kumari Shailaja is angry and many speculations are being made about her. BJP leader and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar even said that Shailaja is welcome in BJP. 

Political analysts are looking at all these exercises as the positioning of the leaders in case the Congress is in power. Amidst the clash between Bhupinder Hooda and Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala has also entered and presented his claim. On Tuesday in Kaithal, Congress National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala said that becoming the Chief Minister is the aspiration of every person. However, whatever decision the party high command takes in this matter will be accepted.

'I also want to become CM'

He said that becoming the Chief Minister is the aspiration of every political person. Kumari Shailja would also like to become, she is my elder sister, Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh Hooda would also like to become. Apart from us three, any other person also has the right to claim the post of CM, because there is democracy here. But this decision has to be taken by Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge as to who will be the CM. Whatever decision the party high command takes, we will all accept it.

On the question of BJP senior leader Manohar Lal Khattar wishing Kumari Shailja on her birthday, he said that these things have no weight. I respect the former Chief Minister. He is like a father. He is older than us in age but he is talking childishly. Kumari Shailja was, is and will remain a Congressman. Prime Minister Modi did not take Manohar Lal Khattar to the Kurukshetra rally. PM Modi was afraid of votes getting divided because of Khattar. He should worry about himself. PM Modi should not remove him from the post of minister, the way he removed him from the post of Chief Minister. Everything is fine in our family.

Meanwhile, former Haryana minister and senior Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav said that when I did not get the ticket, I was also angry, but I did not leave the party. Congress is in our blood and Kumari Selja also has Congress in her blood. I can say with confidence that there is no question of leaving Congress. Some people spread rumors without any reason. Staying inside the party, we will work for the strengthening of the party. Kumari Selja will not leave Congress under any circumstances. I was listening to her statement in which she was saying that I will remain in Congress till my last breath and will leave this world wrapped in the party's tricolor.
