Vashu Bhagnani, the producer of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', has been in the news this year due to many controversies. After the poor performance of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film's team accused him of not paying. Earlier this month, the director of the film claimed that Bhagnani has not even paid his fee of Rs 7.30 crore. In such a situation, Vashu Bhagnani has once again come into the limelight. Vashu has filed a case against Netflix India.

Vashu has alleged that Netflix India has 'cheated' him. In an interview to the Economic Times, Vashu Bhagnani alleged that the OTT platform has committed 'fraud and conspiracy' against the rights of his three films: Hero No. 1, Mission Raniganj and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Accused of not paying Rs 47.37 crore

Vashu claims that Netflix has bought the rights of these films but has not yet paid Rs 47.37 crore. However, OTT denied all the allegations of Vashu. A Netflix spokesperson has officially denied the allegations in a statement to the media. The spokesperson said, "These claims are completely baseless. Netflix owes money not to OTT but to Pooja Entertainment."

Accused of embezzling Rs 9.5 crore

A few days ago, there were reports of a money dispute between the producer and director of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. The dispute between the two escalated so much that the director and producer of the film even filed a complaint against each other. In the complaint, the director of the film, Ali Abbas, accused Vashu of not making the payment.

Producers Vashu and Jackie Bhagnani accused Ali of misusing money. Bhagnani has accused Ali Abbas Zafar of embezzling Rs 9.5 crore and misusing the subsidy funds received from Abu Dhabi officials during the shooting of the film. He also filed a complaint of fraud, theft, blackmailing, extortion, money laundering and cheating.
