2. Guidelines
Step 1: Get the chicken ready.
– Coat the chicken pieces uniformly with cornstarch by tossing them in a basin. This will contribute to the crispy texture of the chicken.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken: – Heat the vegetable oil in a big pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and heat for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is cooked through and golden brown. After taking the chicken out of the pan, put it aside.
Step 3: Create the Sauce: Add the ginger and garlic to the same pan and sauté for 30 seconds or so, or until aromatic.
– Add the red pepper flakes, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Once the sauce is well cooked and the sugar has dissolved, stir.
Step 4: Mix the Chicken with the Sauce. After cooking, add the chicken back to the pan and toss to coat with sauce. Cook the chicken for a further two to three minutes, or until it’s well cooked and well-coated.
Step 5: Serve: – If wanted, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot with noodles or rice.
