To ease the process of starting and operating a business, the Delhi government will launch a single-window system on September 30. The portal aims to speed up the process of setting up a business in the capital, provide quick approvals and clearances to investors, and simplify compliance rules. Industry Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj will launch the beta version of this portal. This portal will reduce the complexity of documentation related to business and traders will not need to apply repeatedly for different approvals.

Currently, 59 services of 12 departments will be made available under this portal of the government. Delhi Industry Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "This portal will simplify the approvals before starting a business, reduce the burden of compliance, and reduce the timelines of projects."

37 services will be live in the first phase
The portal was already being tested, and in the first phase, 37 services of Labor, MCD, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Weights and Measures, Delhi Jal Board, Power Distribution Companies, and Industry Department have been made "live". After this, 22 services of Drug Control, Trade and Tax, Excise, Entertainment and Luxury Tax, DSIIDC and GSDL will be added.

Easy registration process
The registration process on the portal has also been kept simple. When a businessman registers on the portal, he has to answer some questions, which reveal the nature of his business and the necessary approvals. Along with this, information about notifications, policies, and necessary rules issued by various departments can also be easily obtained.

Drafts of new policies will also be available.
Government officials said that the drafts of the new policies of the Delhi government will be first put on this portal so that the concerned parties and the general public can give their opinions and suggestions on it. Earlier this year, drafts of four new policies were posted on this portal, on which feedback was received.
