The host squad discovered a number of heroes during the two-match Test series who stepped up to secure a sweeping series victory against a formidable Bangladeshi side that was riding high on confidence after its triumph over Pakistan in a two-match series played away from home last month.

Indian Players’ Ratings Against Bangladesh in the Test Series

As always, the Indian captain’s leadership was excellent.

Jaiswal Yashasvi, 9.

In the Kanpur Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal earned the Man of the Match (MOTM) title after scoring three half-centuries in four innings, extending his amazing start to his Test career. Jaiswal scored four innings at a 47.25 average and amassed 189 runs.

Rahul KL, 6/1o

KL Rahul performed well in the Kanpur Test, scoring 68 runs in 43 balls, after a disappointing performance in the Chenani Test. Rahul finished the series with an average of 53.00 and 106 runs in three innings.

10/10 for Ravindra Jadeja

10/10 for Ravichandran Ashwin

9/10 for Jasprit Bumrah

Despite taking a three-month vacation from the game, Jasprit Bumrah was at his deadly best with the ball and once again made all the difference for the Indian squad. In two games, Bombay claimed 11 wickets, including two four-wicket hauls and two three-wicket hauls.

Eight out of ten for Akash Deep

Following an outstanding debut against England earlier this year, Akash Deep made a strong case for a spot on the Australia trip with a strong performance against Bangladesh, taking five wickets at an average of 20.40 in the two games.

Mohammed Siraj: Grade of 5
