Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, has embarked on a three-day visit to Tirupati District, which commenced on Tuesday, October 1. He departed from Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada during the afternoon and arrived at Tirupati Airport by 4:00 PM. Following his arrival, Pawan Kalyan proceeded to the Alipiri walkway at 4:50 PM and is scheduled to reach Tirumala by 8:00 PM after walking the famed Alipiri Srivari pathway.

Upon his arrival, he was greeted warmly by District Collector Dr. S. Venkateshwar, District Superintendent of Police Subbarayudu, and other local officials. Pawan Kalyan will spend the night at Tirumala, with plans to offer prayers to the lord on the morning of October 2. At 11:05 AM on the same day, he will visit the Matru Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasada Kendra for an inspection.

Following another overnight stay on Wednesday, October 2, the Deputy Chief Minister is set to depart Tirumala at 4:30 PM on October 3 and take part in the Varahi Sabha program to be held in Tirupati later that day.

During his visit, Pawan Kalyan is accompanied by his family as they seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala. However, the trip is happening amidst a larger controversy surrounding allegations that animal fat is being used in the preparation of the renowned Tirumala Laddu, a beloved prasadam.

On his 'Prayashchit Diksha', Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said, "...Some kind of desecration has been happening continuously for the last 5-6 years. Around 219 temples were desecrated. In Ramatheertham, Lord Ram's statue was vandalised. So, this is not about just one prasad issue...This 'Prayashchit Diksha' is the commitment to take forward the Sanathana Dharma Parirakshana Trust, it is very essential...This kind of occurrence should be stopped and addressed differently at a different level...Once I am done with this Diksha, tomorrow we will have a declaration..."
