Dr. Zakir Naik, a prominent Indian scholar, recently addressed a question regarding Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s beard, leaving Khan momentarily speechless.

Shah Rukh Khan is a leading Muslim actor in Bollywood, known for acknowledging that his family practices both Islam and Hinduism within their household.

Khan’s marriage to Gauri, a Hindu, has contributed to a greater prevalence of Hindu beliefs in their family dynamics and daily practices.

A video of Dr. Zakir Naik has circulated widely on social media, originating from a podcast hosted by Nadir Ali featuring their conversation.

During the podcast, Nadir Ali inquired about the topics Dr. Naik discusses when meeting Shah Rukh Khan, leading to an insightful exchange.

Dr. Naik revealed that Shah Rukh Khan once asked him off-camera whether a Muslim without a beard would face condemnation in the afterlife.

In response, Dr. Naik explained that keeping a beard relates to how well one wishes to perform in a metaphorical exam of faith.

He entitled that while having a beard is obligatory for Muslim men, not having one does not guarantee eternal damnation in hell.

Dr. Naik conveyed that having a beard may facilitate attaining paradise, akin to achieving a higher score in that metaphorical exam.

Upon hearing Dr. Naik’s explanation, Shah Rukh Khan reportedly expressed his admiration, stating, “What a fantastic point you’ve made!” during their conversation.

Nadir Ali had the pleasure of inviting Dr. Zakir Naik as a guest on his podcast, where the discussion took an engaging turn.

Previously, Shah Rukh Khan made controversial remarks regarding his beard, claiming it affects his appearance and how his children interact with him.
