While carrying out this operation, the Special Cell of Delhi Police has seized a huge consignment of drugs worth Rs 2,000 crore. Four accused were also arrested.
Big success for police
The Special Cell of Delhi Police has taken this action. Four accused have been arrested in this case. An international drug syndicate was also exposed. The investigation is being done from the angle of narco-terror. Additional CP Pramod Singh Kushwaha of Special Cell of Delhi Police said, “The accused has been identified as Tushar Goyal, resident of Vasant Vihar, Delhi. Tushar has two associates. And Aurangzeb is also included.” Apart from this, Kurla garbage receiver Bharat Jain has also been arrested.
15 kg cocaine seized
Pramod Singh Kushwaha further said that about 15 kg of cocaine was seized from Tushar Goyal, Himanshu and Aurangzeb. He was caught when he was coming out of a warehouse in Mahipalpur Extension to deliver supplies to the receiver. Residual marijuana and cocaine were found in the warehouse. He said the back and forth links of the consignment had been exposed, adding that it was being operated from the Middle East, where a major handler was seen. CP Kushwaha said that this cocaine was seized in recent days.
