The most awaited trailer of Tamil cinema veteran Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Vettaiyaan' has been released today, October 2, 2024. Rajinikanth was recently admitted to the hospital due to health related problems. However, the makers of the film still released the trailer on the scheduled date. There is no limit to the happiness of fans after the release of the trailer. The film has been directed by TJ Gnanavel.

In the beginning of the trailer it is shown that college students are protesting. In the trailer of the film, superstar Rajinikanth is once again seen in his old style i.e. fighting the goons in action avatar. People are liking the trailer of 'Vettaiyaan' a lot. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages. At the same time, it will be released on October 10. Earlier this film was going to clash with Kanguva, but the makers of Kanguva have extended the release date of their film to 14th November.

Rajinikanth in the role of a policeman

Rajinikanth is seen in the role of a policeman in the film. It is shown in the trailer that some people are protesting after the murder, but the government is not helping much in this matter. Then Rajinikanth enters this matter and he promises to find the culprit. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the role of a lawyer in the film.

Returning together on screen after 33 years

Apart from Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati are also in important roles in 'Vettaiyan'. Apart from this, actors like Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Abhirami will also be seen in the film. This film is Amitabh's first Tamil movie. The pairing of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan is returning to the screen after 33 years with 'Vettaiyan'. Both were last seen in the film 'Hum'.

Rajinikanth is admitted in the hospital

Rajinikanth has been admitted to Apollo Hospital, Greams Road on 30 September 2024. The actor has been admitted due to swelling in the main blood vessels (aorta) of the heart. According to the statement issued from the hospital, his treatment has been successful. Also, he is fine now and will be allowed to go home in two days.
