New Delhi: Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya shared a heartfelt photo with his son Agastya on Instagram on Wednesday, October 2. The all-rounder last played during India’s T201 series in Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, he missed the ODI series for personal reasons. Agastya was born to Hardik and his former partner Natasa Stankovic on July 30, 2020. In his Instagram post, Hardik captured a special moment with his son, captioning it:

“My biggest motivation.”

The 30-year-old will return to the field when India faces Bangladesh in a three-match T201 series, beginning Sunday, October 6, in Gwalior. The second match is scheduled for October 9 in Delhi, while the final game will take place on October 12 in Hyderabad.

Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic parted ways after 4 years earlier this year.

Following much speculation about their relationship status, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic confirmed their separation in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, July 18. The couple married on May 31, 2020, and welcomed their son Agastya in July of that year.

In the post, they expressed gratitude for their four-year relationship and their son, writing:

“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.”

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us the privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” they continued.
