UP: Beef trade, husband and wife are the ‘culprits’… Police caught both of them while smuggling.

In Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, the accused involved in beef trade have been arrested and sent to jail. After receiving the information, the police arrested the accused with 63 kg of beef. After their arrest, the accused confessed that they used to slaughter animals and sell their meat in the dark of night. Police suspect that more people may be involved in this.

According to the information, Parvez alias Bablu and his wife Shabnam, residents of Chaukia village of Ghazipur district, were doing business of beef for a long time. There was a lot of anger in the village regarding this. Someone gave this information to the police. After getting concrete information, the police suddenly raided Parvez's house. During the raid, police found 63 kg of cow meat along with cow slaughtering tools from Parvez's house.

After finding beef, the police interrogated Parvez and his family members. People nearby told that these people were engaged in this business for a long time. Accused Parvez told that we used to bring cows and calves secretly in the dark of night. Cows and calves would be brought and slaughtered in the dark of night and their useless meat would be packed in a sack and thrown in a nearby pond.

The people of the village were worried about throwing beef in the pond, but no one had much information about this matter. The accused used to cut cow meat into small pieces and sell it in the dark of night.

After confessing to the police about cow slaughter, the accused husband and wife started apologizing with folded hands. The accused said that a mistake was made, now they will not do such wrong thing in future.

Police said that the accused is Parvez alias Bablu against whom a total of three cases are registered in 2018, 2020 and 2024. In which two are registered under Cow Slaughter Prevention Act and one under Uttar Pradesh Gangster Act. Whereas action has been taken against his wife under the Cow Slaughter Prevention Act. In this case, the police have taken action against both of them under the Cow Slaughter Prevention Act and have sent them to jail.
