In Her Place OTT Release Date: The Spanish crime drama will be arriving in the streaming platform Netflix from 11th October 2024. The film is based on a true story of a writer María Carolina Geel who is accused of killing her lover.

Plot

The story of the spanish film follows the life of a famous writer who is accused of killing her lover and faces murder charges in court. The writer  María Carolina Geel, who in 1955 killed her lover at the Crillón Hotel.

The film is also a reinterpretation of a story in the book ‘he Murderers’ by Alia Trabucco Zeran. ‘In her Place’ was also screened in the 72nd San Seabastian International Film Festival on 23rd September 2024.

It was also selected as the Chilean entry for best international feature film at the 97 academy awards. The trailer of the film begins with a huge crowd gathered outside the court

Meanwhile a police car arrives and a woman comes out and she gazes at the convict who is being taken inside the court, she had blood marks on her face and is wearing a purple color brazer

However, the two women look at each other for a while and then enters inside the court. However, as the two enters the court, a background voice narates the series of events how the murder took place.

Meanwhile, the accused woman was seen entering into a hotel and approaches towards a man who is seen sitting on a table. she sits next to him and takes out a gun and shoots him.

Everyone in the hotel gets shocked and starts panicking after witnessing a murder. The accused woman confesses of killing her lover in the court.
