On the first day of Navratri, CM opens the pink bus restroom

On the first day of Sharadiya Navratri, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dedicated the pink bus restroom on Park Road in Civil Lines as part of an initiative to improve amenities protecting women’s dignity and respect.

This time, the Chief Minister unveiled the Bandicoot robot, modern sewage cleaning equipment, door-to-door rubbish pickup trucks, and a de-watering faecal sludge safety machine imported as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission.

He also unveiled the Swachh Pandal poster for Navratri Durgotsav, which exhorts people to observe the holiday without producing any garbage.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath examined the interior layout and facilities after cutting the ribbon to officially open the pink bus restroom.

Along with supporting the ladies running the café, he also opened the café behind the pink bus restroom.

The Municipal Corporation recently opened this pink bus restroom in the Civil Lines neighborhood, bringing the total to two of these establishments. The first pink restroom on Ramgarhtal Road is now open and functioning in front of the Buddha Gate.

Roadway buses that were deemed rubbish were modified to make the pink bus toilet. It has a wash basin, a café, and both Indian and Western restrooms. Additionally, a solar system has been put in place to supply the facility’s electrical demands.
