Threat to burn Deoband Madrasa, stone pelting and lathi charge… Uproar over Narasimhanand’s statement

There is a continuous uproar in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh after Yeti Narasimhanand's statement against Prophet Mohammad. People from the Muslim side are continuously protesting and demanding strict action against them. Meanwhile, an account on X social media platform threatened to burn Deoband Madrasa. After which a complaint has been lodged with the police. After the uproar in Shekhpura village, the matter reached the point of lathicharge. The police is busy investigating all the cases.

According to Jakanari, a post threatening to burn the Madrasa of Deoband has been made from an X account named @mysatish20. Now Mahmudur Rahman's son Atikur Rahman has given a written complaint against this to the police. Taking the matter seriously, the police have registered a case against unknown accused under section 353 (2), 351 (3) of BNS. The police is currently busy searching for the person running the X account. Saharanpur SP Dehat Sagar Jain has said that a case has been registered and investigation has been started.

Uproar in Shekhpura

After the statements of Yeti Narasimhanand, protests against him are continuously increasing. People of Muslim community are gathering and protesting against him at different places in the entire district. News of protests are also coming from other districts of the state. People of Muslim community also gathered in Shekhpura village of Kotwali in the rural areas of Saharanpur and gave a memorandum raising slogans against Yeti Narasimhanand. The police showed promptness and took a memorandum from the people in the village itself so that the situation remained under control.

had to resort to lathi charge

When people gathered in Sheikhpura, some of them came out on the road and started pelting stones at the policemen. Some policemen also suffered injuries in the attack. After this the police had to resort to lathi charge to control the situation. SP City Abhimanyu Manglik says that anti-social elements have tried to spoil the atmosphere. The people who pelted stones are being identified. Soon strict action will be taken against the accused.
