Some stars may have their family background in acting but still face a lot of struggle to get their first taste of success. This one superstar is the son of two former actors but still his entry in Bollywood was not easy. As a child he has faced poverty and hardly had money to buy food. It was only cinema that completely changed his destiny and made him a screen icon. We are talking about none other than Govinda. Born in 1963 to former actor Aroon and singer-actress Nirmala Devi he grew up in poverty. Neither of parents saw success in their respective careers and the family was not very well off. After his father lost everything due to his failed home production the family moved to Carter Road bungalow to Virar where Govinda was born. In an interview the actor revealed that growing up his family hardly had money to buy him food and they would have to borrow ration to survive. In 1980s after Govinda completed his graduation the actor tried finding jobs to earn money but was unsuccessful. He once revealed that due to his lack of proficiency in English he couldnt find the right job. Later he tried his hands in films auditioning for various projects. He established himself as the highest-paid actor and a comedy star. According to Times of India report the actor once claimed that he had signed 75 films at the age of 21. He has also rejected films and shows like Gadar and Mahabharat in his career but it really never affected his stardom. With hits like Raja Babu Coolie No 1 Deewana Mastana Dulhe Raja Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Anari No 1 Bhagam Bhag and Partner he became one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. The actors net worth is currently estimated to be around Rs 150 crore.
