Pakistani star Fawad Khan last worked in Bollywood in the 2016 film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Mein'. Now after 8 years, Fawad Khan is ready to make a comeback in Bollywood. Fawad Khan will be seen sharing screen space with Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor in his next romantic comedy film 'Abir Gulaal'. The makers released its first look on Monday. Since then, Indian fans have become excited to see Fawad Khan in Bollywood once again.
The shooting of this Bollywood comeback film of Fawad Khan has started in London. Aarti S Bagri is directing this film. It is produced by Indian Stories, A Richer Lens and Arjay Pictures. The makers also released the first look of the film, in which Vaani Kapoor and Fawad Khan are seen.
'Abeer Gulal' is being jointly produced by Vivek B Agarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. The shooting of this romantic film starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor started on 29 September. The background of the film will be based on London only. The story of the film is about two people who unknowingly help each other and eventually fall in love.
Expressing happiness over Fawad being a part of the film, the makers said, “Fawad has a huge fan following. We hope that fans will like the pairing of Fawad and Vaani in the film. Such chemistry between Fawad and Vaani will be seen in the film, which no one would have seen before. The roles of both in the film are also quite different.”
This film starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor will be shot in the UK in October and November. Six tracks have already been made for the film. However, no announcement has been made by the makers regarding when the film will be released.
Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor in the year 2014 with the film 'Khoobsurat'. After this he appeared in 'Kapoor and Sons'. His previous Bollywood film was 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', which was released in 2016. Although Fawad did a cameo in this film.
