Actress Palak Sindhwani, who played the character of Sonu Bhide in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has recently said goodbye to the show. Now the makers have cast actress Khushi Mali to play the character of Sonu Bhide in the show. The makers themselves introduced the new Sonu Bhide of the show, after which people started giving different reactions.
Khushi Mali will now be seen playing the role of Sonu instead of Palak in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Khushi's entry in the show took place in the episode telecast on 7 October. However, when the makers told about the new Sonu Bhide on social media, people expressed their displeasure and said that the show should be stopped now.
The makers of the show shared a video on social media introducing the new Sonu Bhide i.e. Khushi Mali. People started trolling the makers regarding this video. People trolled the makers and said that when we breathe, the characters of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah change.

Khushi Mali is the fourth actress to play the role of Sonu Bhide. Earlier, the role of Sonu Bhide has been played by actress Jheel Mehta (2008-2012), Nidhi Bhanushali (2012-2019) and Palak Sindhwani (2019-2014). Palak Sindhwani recently left the show due to legal dispute. At the same time, before Palak, many actors including Jennifer Mistry and Shailesh Lodha had left the show due to their own reasons.
