Jackie Shroff pays tribute to his father-in-law and Air Vice Marshal Ranjan Dutt on Air Force Day

On Thursday, on the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force, famous Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff paid tribute to all the soldiers including his father-in-law Ranjan Dutt who sacrificed everything for the security of the country. Ranjan Dutt has been an Air Vice Marshal in the Indian Air Force. Let it be known that the Air Force was established on 8 October 1932. In memory of this historical day, Air Force Day is celebrated every year on 8 October.

Jackie Shroff on Tuesday shared a video of several pictures of his father-in-law on Instagram. He wrote in this post, “As we celebrate the spirit of the Indian Air Force, we honor the legacy of Air Vice Marshal Ranjan Dutt, who pioneered the skies of India. From the battlefields of World War II to the modern IAF, Air Vice Marshal Dutt's contributions have shaped our country's air power. Ranjan Dutt, one of the country's earliest Indian officers, led the Air Force with vision and courage, helping transform the Indian Air Force into a significant force. “His efforts in modernizing our fleet and strengthening our air defense will continue to inspire generations of air warriors.”

He further wrote, “Ranjan Dutt believed in the immense potential of the Indian Air Force and today we are reaching great heights only because of his dedication. On this Air Force Day, we pay tribute to the fearless spirit of Air Vice Marshal Ranjan Dutt and all those who protect our skies.” Ranjan Dutt came from Bengali background. He served as Air Vice Marshal Indian Air Force officer and Vir Chakra awardee Ranjan Dutt was married to Claude Marie Dutt de Cave of Belgium. His daughter is Ayesha Shroff. He captioned his post, “Jai Hind Ayesha Shroff” along with this he used the hashtags Indian Air Force, Indian Air Force Day, Heroes, Jai Hind Bharat.
