A bulldozer was used to stage Ramlila in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. This bulldozer was not an action taken by the administration, rather it was being used for entertainment. People came there to see this and the uncontrolled bulldozer crushed a young man, seriously injuring him. His condition remains critical there. After the accident, there was an atmosphere of chaos in Ramlila Maidan. This is another incident of negligence of bulldozer in Uttar Pradesh. The uncontrollable bulldozer created a ruckus on the spot; the uncontrollable bulldozer ran over people and things kept there.
Actually, Ramlila was being organized in Inargaon of Koirauna. Sita Swayamvar was being staged there. Pattu Raja was being brought to the stage in a JCB to break the bow, when the driver lost control. The uncontrolled JCB also hit the skirting-tube light pole and a group of band instruments.
Major Gautam and Santosh Gautam, present on the spot, told that the band players were moving ahead in Ramlila, when the JCB went out of control, due to which there was chaos in the huge crowd present on the spot. Along with the band members, some other people also got hit by the bulldozer on the spot. Major Gautam said that in this accident, band player Ramesh Gautam, resident of Dankapur, was admitted to a private hospital in Gopiganj in a dying condition, where as his condition became critical, the doctors referred him to Prayagraj. At present, Ramesh's condition remains critical.
Shivam Shukla and Ankit Seth, who went to see Ramlila, told that Lord Shri Ram and Sita Swayamvar was staged in Ramlila. There was also a bulldozer of the state chief Yogi Baba in it. A large crowd had gathered there after seeing the bulldozer. The government administration should immediately take some concrete action on this so that such wrong tradition is not repeated.
