  • Insomnia is also a sign of eating too much sugar. Due to this the sleep pattern gets disturbed.
  • If you are gaining fat around your belly, it is also a sign that you are eating too much sugar. Eating too much sugar causes insulin spikes and signals the body to store fat. Fat starts accumulating especially around the stomach and waist.
  • Frequent back pain is also a sign of eating too much sugar. This increases swelling in the body and can cause back pain.
  • If you are always irritable then it could also be due to excessive sugar consumption. Excessive sugar consumption can cause fluctuations in blood sugar and mood swings.
  • Consuming excess sugar can also cause acne. When insulin levels increase in the body, the production of androgen hormones and sebum increases, causing acne.
  • Headache also persists due to changes in blood sugar.
  • The more sugar you eat, the more you crave sweets. If you crave a lot of sugar, it is also a sign that you are consuming too much sugar.

  • Instead of refined sugar, you can use dates, jaggery, honey, coconut sugar.
