Recipe News Desk!!! Making Aloo Moong Paratha is very easy. Very few spices are used in making it. Aloo-Mug Paratha is not only delicious but also nutritious.

required materials

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Green moong dal – half cup (soaked)
  • Boiled potatoes – 2
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Chopped Onion – 1
  • Asafoetida – 1 pinch
  • Garam masala – 1/4 cup
  • salt as per taste
  • oil as required

Method

  • First of all, put water and salt in a pressure cooker on medium flame and boil the mug till one whistle.
  • Meanwhile, mix flour and salt in a bowl and add water and knead a soft dough.
  • Open the lid of the cooker and separate the water from the moong.
  • Prepare the stuffing by mixing mugwort, onion, potato, green chilli, asafoetida, garam masala and salt in a vessel.
  • Now break the dough balls and cut them into whole pieces.
  • Add one spoon of stuffing in it and knead the dough.
  • Now apply dry flour and shape the dough into a paratha.
  • Now apply oil on both sides of the parantha and fry until it becomes crisp.
  • Prepare all the parathas in the same manner.
  • Potato-moong parathas are ready. Serve with curd or raita.
