Recipe News Desk!!! Making Aloo Moong Paratha is very easy. Very few spices are used in making it. Aloo-Mug Paratha is not only delicious but also nutritious.
required materials
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Green moong dal – half cup (soaked)
- Boiled potatoes – 2
- Green chilli – 2
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Garam masala – 1/4 cup
- salt as per taste
- oil as required
Method
- First of all, put water and salt in a pressure cooker on medium flame and boil the mug till one whistle.
- Meanwhile, mix flour and salt in a bowl and add water and knead a soft dough.
- Open the lid of the cooker and separate the water from the moong.
- Prepare the stuffing by mixing mugwort, onion, potato, green chilli, asafoetida, garam masala and salt in a vessel.
- Now break the dough balls and cut them into whole pieces.
- Add one spoon of stuffing in it and knead the dough.
- Now apply dry flour and shape the dough into a paratha.
- Now apply oil on both sides of the parantha and fry until it becomes crisp.
- Prepare all the parathas in the same manner.
- Potato-moong parathas are ready. Serve with curd or raita.
