Ratan Tata known not only as a successful businessman and philanthropist but also as a person whose presence changed the lives of many passed away at the age of 86. He has transformed many lives whose stories haven’t even come out in front of the people.  Aditi Bhosale Walunj co-founder of Repos Energy shared a remarkable story on her LinkedIn account. She wrote that when they started their business she wished for Ratan Tata to be their mentor. However everyone around her said that it would be impossible for her to meet him. Aditi Waited For 12 Hours Repos Energy is one such startup co-founded by Aditi and Chetan Walunj which focuses on fuel delivery on demand. Tata invested in the company a fact Aditi shared in a LinkedIn post in August 2022 recalling their early days and how a single phone call changed their lives. Initially Aditi and Chetan had a dream that Ratan Tata would mentor their company but despite several efforts they couldn’t meet him. Aditi shared the story on LinkedIn explaining how they created a 3D presentation of their project outlining their vision to revolutionize fuel distribution through technology. They sent the presentation along with a letter to Ratan Tata. After weeks of waiting without a response Aditi and Chetan decided to go directly to Tata’s home and waited outside for nearly 12 hours. However they couldn’t meet him and left disappointed. Ratan Tata’s One Call Changed Their Life When they returned to their hotel something unexpected happened. A phone call came in. Aditi answered and the voice on the other end asked Hello can I speak to Aditi? When she asked who was calling the voice replied This is Ratan Tata. I received your letter can we meet? Aditi recalled that moment as the realization of her biggest dream. The next day Aditi and Chetan met with Tata where they presented their plan to him. Aditi described their journey as a story of courage and passion. Dream Come True It led to success after just one phone call from Ratan Tata. The co-founders Aditi Bhosale Walunj and Chetan Walunj were left speechless when Ratan Tata himself reached out to them. They had a three-hour meeting discussing their work and vision. In 2019 they received the first investment from Tata Group and another followed in 2022.  Soon after the couple’s startup Repos Energy experienced a rapid rise. This life-changing call came directly from the legendary Ratan Tata.
