Former Chief Minister of Delhi and National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi addressed a joint press conference today. During this time, Arvind Kejriwal once again targeted BJP from his arrest to the closure of public welfare schemes. He said that I made electricity free, hence I was sent to jail, Manish Sisodia made education free, hence he was sent to jail and Satyendra Jain built mohalla clinics for free treatment, hence he was sent to jail. Arvind Kejriwal said that taking forward the campaign of good education, now Mukhyamantri Jai Bhim Yojana is being started again in Delhi.

Former CM Arvind Kejriwal said that in Delhi we had started the Mukhyamantri Jai Bhim Yojana in 2017. Under which the government provided coaching help to SC, ST, OBC, EWS students. But later this scheme was stopped, but it is a matter of happiness that now it is being started again.

Schemes stopped under conspiracy

Along with this, Arvind Kejriwal also talked about starting the Farishte scheme. He said that the Farishte scheme has also been started again in Delhi. In this, if anyone gets injured on the road, he gets free treatment in big hospitals. The government bears all the expenses. Under this scheme, lives of 26,000 people have been saved so far. But this was also closed.

Everyone's payment will be done after verification

Arvind Kejriwal said that coaching is very expensive. Children of these classes have the ability but do not have the opportunity. There is no financial capacity either. We had started providing coaching for those preparing for such children. We also used to give them Rs 2500 per month. But there was some interruption due to Corona and it was closed after I went to jail. Now it is being started again. Everything will be paid after verification.

Previous governments did not work

Arvind Kejriwal also said that we will fight and join hands to get these schemes completed. He said that people say that if the earlier governments did not fight, then they did not do any work either. Kejriwal said that Manish Sisodia went to jail because he built good schools.

The former Chief Minister said that we had a scheme that if treatment could not be done in government hospitals, then he could get it done in private hospitals, the Delhi government used to reimburse the money. They stopped that scheme also. He said that it is a matter of happiness that now gradually all the schemes are being started.
